Pre-Production Samples
Approve the Final Specification Before Manufacture
A pre-production sample is made after the design, dimensions, materials and artwork have been agreed. It provides a close representation of the final product and allows the completed specification to be checked before the main production run begins.
Unlike an early design prototype, a pre-production sample is intended to confirm the finished construction rather than explore alternative concepts. Wherever practical, it will use the agreed materials, print, fittings and manufacturing methods.
A pre-production sample can help you check:

A prototype may be produced using plain, digitally printed or representative materials, depending on what needs to be assessed. The aim is to create a practical working model rather than an exact production-ready version.
Design prototypes are particularly useful for:

We will select the closest available example based on your enquiry. It may demonstrate a similar size, product style, material or feature, but it will not usually match your exact specification, branding or dimensions.

We typically aim to produce a pre-production samples and prototypes within 4-5 days.
