Ordering with Duraweld FAQ
Contact Duraweld by email, telephone or the website enquiry form. Include the product type and approximate quantity where possible. Dimensions, artwork, photographs, samples and required delivery dates can help us prepare a more accurate quotation, but you do not need a complete specification before contacting us.
The most useful starting information is the product type, quantity, approximate dimensions and whether it will be plain or printed. Depending on the product, we may also ask about materials, capacity, mechanisms, closures, inserts, finishes and delivery requirements.
We aim to provide most quotations within one working day. For larger or more complex enquiries, it may take a little longer, particularly where we need to confirm lithographic printing costs, material availability, or production requirements.
Taking this extra time allows our estimating team to prepare an accurate quotation and provide our best price first time.
No. We can quote from a description, sketch, photograph, existing sample or basic logo and wording. Finished artwork is useful for confirming print requirements, but it is not essential for the initial enquiry.
Yes. New printed, foil-blocked and embossed orders receive a PDF artwork proof for approval before production begins. Amendments can be requested before final approval.
Typical production lead times are approximately 10–15 working days from approval of the artwork and final specification. More complex products, specialist tooling, material availability and larger order quantities may require additional time, but this will always be discussed and agreed before your order is placed.
For bulk orders, we can also arrange a rolling delivery schedule, with the order supplied in agreed batches rather than as a single delivery.
Stock or recently manufactured examples may be available to demonstrate materials, quality and construction. For bespoke projects, a pre-production prototype or sample can be manufactured depending on the product and complexity.
Minimum economical quantities vary according to the product, material, printing method and tooling involved. Typically we work from a £250 minimum order value for bespoke produtcs. Tell us what quantity you require and we can provide suitable price breaks or recommend the most economical manufacturing approach.
Yes. Approved artwork, product specifications and tooling are retained to support consistent repeat production. Simply requesting a repeat quotation based on your previous order, letting us know if it is an exact repeat or includes any changes.
Yes. Duraweld can deliver to multiple addresses, including direct-to-client delivery, scheduled batch deliveries and white-label fulfilment.
Quantities can be divided between destinations to suit your requirements. Split deliveries are normally agreed at the quotation or order stage, allowing all delivery costs to be confirmed upfront.
