Custom snap lock bottom boxes, also known as ‘snap-lock boxes’ or ‘1-2-3 bottom boxes’, are versatile and widely used across various industries. They provide an excellent packaging solution for a wide range of items, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, electronics, candles, home goods, and more.
Structure and Closure
These boxes have a front and back, two sides, and a top and bottom. The top is typically in a tuck end style, although various other styles are available. However, it’s the bottom that sets them apart—the name “snap lock bottom” comes from its unique construction.
The bottom is secured using four interlocking closure tabs. The larger u-shaped tab is folded inward, followed by the two smaller side tabs that fold over the u-shaped tab. Finally, the last larger tab is folded inward and securely tucked and pushed ineffectively locking the bottom in place.
Easy to Assemble
The interlocking tabs create a secure closure, ensuring your items remain protected throughout transit and storage. Moreover, assembling these boxes is a breeze, taking just three straightforward steps. This user-friendly feature saves valuable time and effort during the packaging process, enhancing overall efficiency.
Space-Efficient Storage and Retail-Ready Display
Snap lock boxes are not only robust but also space-efficient. When not in use, they can be conveniently stored flat, optimising storage space and reducing clutter. Once filled with your products, these boxes shine on retail shelves and point-of-purchase displays. Their professional appearance and secure closure add to the visual appeal, enticing customers and boosting sales.
No Glue or Tape Required
An economic packaging choice, snap lock boxes eliminate the need for glue or tape during assembly. This not only reduces costs but also streamlines the packaging process. Additionally, they offer a budget-friendly alternative to crash lock bottom boxes while still providing exceptional strength and reliability for a wide range of products.
