We have taken a major step towards a sustainable future by installing an 81kw solar system, comprising 196 high-quality solar panels. This is a long-term investment in our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and promoting a greener planet.

It is predicted the system will save 392 Tonnes of CO2 emissions over the next 25 years. The system will produce electricity at an equivalent fixed electricity cost of 4.9p per kWh. The cost saving helps insulate Duraweld from future electricity price inflation allowing us to better manage production costs.
